Tram

Hong Kong's electrically powered trams have been travelling from Kennedy Town to Sha Kei Wan since 1904. Hong Kong Tramways Limited, the company that operates the trams, has eight service routes along the bustling commercial/residential north shore of Hong Kong Island. Among its fleet are some 163 double-deck trams as well as two double-deck open-balcony trams for tourists and private hire. These double-deckers are quite unique. In fact HK Tramways is the only company in the world to have an entire fleet of these types of trams. Although the trams were refurbished in 1991 they are still essentially the same models which have operated on the island for decades.
